Protection against scam lotteries
Increased attempts at fraud via e-mail, letter and telephone
Unfortunately, e-mails or letters are repeatedly sent in the name of Swiss Lotto, EuroMillions, Swisslos or similar senders, and recently telephone calls have also been made in the name of trustworthy persons who want to make the recipients believe that they have won a large amount but must first provide their address and account details or even make an advance payment of expenses in order to receive the prize.
- Such contacts are always made by third parties with fraudulent intent
- Swisslos never demands fees or other advance payments for a prize payout
We therefore advise you to ignore such contacts and not to respond to them. Remember: You can only win at Swisslos if you have played and can present a valid game receipt.
